It’s the beginning of the year, so we’re putting our experimenting caps on. It’s also been nearly 3 months since Edition 1 of our coffee dropped, so we’re busy cupping as we hurtle towards Edition 2 (well, as much hurtling as a company like ours can do :))

It’s R&D time at Aramse HQ and some of our experiments are proving to be very promising. We’re exploring exciting new ways to manipulate SOFI brews. We’re also working on new products, accessories and a whole lot more.
🍉 WTF Is A Co-Ferment?
In washed, honey, and natural processing, fermentation generally involves what’s already in the coffee. The fruit sugars and native microbes doing their thing while the producer mainly controls time, temp, and oxygen. A co-ferment is different: you add external ingredients (fruit, spices, cultures), so fermentation isn’t just managing coffee’s own chemistry — it’s deliberately injecting new flavour compounds into the process.
