Hello folks,
We have two big updates below so let’s get crackin’.
💻 Meticulous
We have waited over 2.5 years for this machine, was it worth it? At just under 40 minutes this is our longest video yet and if any machine deserves the time it’s this. Here’s a deep dive into the most talked about coffee machine in 2026, the Meticulous Espresso. We cover everything from aesthetics, build quality, UI, workflow to pulling shots, looking at the app, addressing one big issue and finally answering the question “has our dream machine arrived?”
🏆 SOFI Came In…
The results are in and Mats Jansen came in 4th in the Dutch Brewers Cup finals. It could have been 2nd place but he lost out on a minor technicality. Nonetheless, we are super proud and want to extend a massive congratulations to Mats! Most people don’t realise how much time, effort and money goes into competing at a national level, so 4th is no joke. We are, of course, so stoked that SOFI made its competition debut as it’s something we’ve been waiting for, for a long time. Mats’ routine was also super interesting, so for all you SOFI owners, we’ll share details in the next newsletter.
🍿What we’re watching…
We may be late to the party, but the timing seems impeccable given the latest spilled tea (hey, we also love a little gossip every once in a while). We’re watching Beckham on Netflix. This is the perfect blend of sport, fashion, drama and dashing good looks :)
Until next month, brew aramse.
Namisha & Raghunath

Congratulations to SOFI and Mats Jansen. Kudos to Namisha & Raghunath, keep doing what you are doing and may your tribe grow!. Sending lots of love from Anand, Gujarat. A few months ago I was unsure of whether to purchase (yet another) home brewing equipment but am glad that I did. The SOFI now ranks right up there with my favourite way to brew sharing a joint 1st place with my V60, surprisingly usurping the Hario Switch in my personal ranking of the most used equipment. I am sure I am still not using it perfectly and there is always scope to improve the workflow, hence looking forward to Mats' routine. It would be interesting to know more about the "minor technicality story" though.
