Hey everyone,
This monthly has run the risk of becoming a quarterly so we apologise for being a little MIA. As mentioned in our last newsletter, Raghunath did a trip to Portland for Re;co and Expo, we’ve been knee-deep working on manufacturing side of SOFI 72, and we also managed to drop to HOT reviews on YouTube. So we’ve been busy worker bees and here’s a quick update on a few things…
I. Products
1. SOFI 72
We’re currently stocked out in India, have the last few pieces left in stock in the US on Kaveri Coffee, and limited stock available at The God Shot for all you folks in Europe. So order yours today! This limited SOFI availability is going to change very soon though…
As we mentioned, we’ve been working really hard to streamline manufacturing to be able to meet the demand that we’ve had for SOFI 72. This has taken a little longer than expected but we’re very close to sharing some really exciting updates with you all. So hang in there just a little longer…
2. Drinkware
Exciting news! Your favourite cappuccino cups are available for pre-order on our website. These are currently being handmade and will be ready to be shipped in c. 3 weeks!
II. Content
YouTube
We got our hands on one of the most hotly anticipated coffee products before the Kickstarter campaign ended — The Meticulous! Given we spend most of our time in India, that’s a big deal for us because logistics often mean we are late to the game. So in case you missed it, here’s our review of this computer that can make legit espresso.
If you have a Need for Speed, then this one’s for you! Yup, we’re talking about a pourover brewer, not a car. Our Orea review is packed with fast brews, nifty hacks and terrible puns.
III. Other Updates
Raghunath had the amazing opportunity to speak at Re;co and listen so some excellent talks in Portland a couple of months ago. It was such an honour to showcase SOFI 72 on the world stage and use it as an example to talk about how producing countries should be included in the narrative for the future waves of coffee, not just as suppliers of green coffee but as innovators and thought leaders. He also got to attend Expo for the first time, which was overwhelming in the best possible way, getting to see and try the latest and greatest gadgets and most importantly meeting some wonderful people and making new connections. It’s a warm and generous community that we feel privileged to be a part of and we hope to see more often in the future.
Until next month, brew aramse.
