February Newsletter
Our cups are (almost) back, 3 YouTube videos!, and last chance to grab our subscription offer...
Hey there commu-ni-tehhh,
February has been a weird month for us all. We were chuffed to emerge out of the world of lockdowns and into the season of love (we sure embraced the cheese his year!), but the news cycle quickly turned downbeat and we know it’s made everyone anxious in the past week. While we wait for what will hopefully be a quick resolution, in the meantime we’re just trying to do what we can do — make ourselves aware, help where we can, and put out useful content that will offer some respite, even if temporary. Anyhoo...
Product
Despite a few logistical hiccups, our next batch of cappuccino cups are almost here! We’re stoked at how well-received the first batch was, and can’t wait to get these out to you. Expect further updates in the first week of March. The sea green have been available on pre-order and are already running out quickly. Surprise, surprise... we will also be unveiling a new colour, so follow us on Instagram and don’t miss out on the launch.
Content
YouTube
We have lots of new and exciting things in store. There’s a whopping 3 new videos since our last newsletter.
Flair 58 — We may be slightly late to the party, but after using the 58 every day for a few months we finally put out an in-depth review of this manual brewer. With practical tips like how to create a smooth workflow to things we love (and don’t!) about the design, this has tons of information packed into just one video. Also, we have another little 58 surprise due to be unveiled in the next few weeks, so keep your eyes peeled for that one by following us on Instagram, where we post all ārāmse related updates.
The Nomad — This little brewer is polarising in every aspect. Right from the materials used, to the design, and whether or not it’s portable, the Nomad has people on both sides of the fence. Say what you will about this thing, but it generates strong opinions and a buzz! Here we look at if this $250 plastic box, that brews great espresso, deserves space on your coffee counter.
Coffee Vocabulary — This video is because of feedback from YOU, dear watcher. We pored over your comments, and with enough people asking we decided to make not just a video, but an entire series, breaking down some popular coffee terms. Here’s part 1, so check it out and let us know what you think. Also, we’d love to hear if there are any specific terms you’d like us to cover in future episodes.
Newsletter
If you’re getting this email, then it's likely you’re on our weekly newsletter, 1:3 — The Lungo And Short Of It, too. The weekly takes less than a minute to read and has 1 fun thing, and 3 useful facts that we’re sure will come in handy in your coffee choices, brews and drinking. If you enjoy it, please share and spread the word!
Subscription
Like we said, we’ve embraced this season of love and are offering 20% of the first bag of coffee for anyone who signs up in February, so you have just a few hours left! If you want to gift the subscription to someone else, please send us an email, and we’ll hook you up in no time.
