1 Fun Thing
Your brain’s storage capacity is essentially unlimited. Research suggests the human brain consists of ~86 billion neurons! Neuron connections with each other could add up to 1 quadrillion (1,000 trillion) connections. Over time, these neurons can combine, increasing storage capacity.

The AeroPress was invented in 2004 by a retired Stanford University engineering lecturer and inventor Alan Adler who has 40 patents! After brewing with an espresso machine, pour-over brewer, and french press, he wanted more control over parameters such as brew time, water temperature, and grind size, and first prototyped the Aeropress in his garage. He is also responsible for inventing the famous Aerobie ring.
A recent experiment by Barista Hustle yielded some very interesting results — they found that brewing a French press with the lid off gives you higher extraction than with the lid on. The cooling of the top surface creates more convection currents which circulates the water, there by increasing extraction.
A puck screen is a disc made up of multiple layers of metal mesh welded together. This goes on top of a tamped puck of coffee when brewing espresso and helps with distributing water and achieving more even extractions. It also keeps your espresso machine clean by preventing coffee particles from rising up and depositing on the shower screen.
